FAQs

Do You Have a Question For Me?

How much does an initial consultation cost?

Initial Behavioural Consultations are usually chargeable at £50 for one hour’s visit.  The consultation usually takes place in your home and may also include observing your dog on a walk (dependent on circumstances). The fee includes a full written report including an action plan along with up to six weeks follow up support via email, WhatsApp or Facebook messenger.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to Covid-19 restrictions an online Zoom consultation may be offered instead of an in person visit.

What is your methodology?

As a Diploma Graduate of the International School of Canine Psychology and Behaviour (ISCP), member of ICAN (International Companion Animal Network) and member of INTODogs, I am committed to using the most up to date, science based, fear and force free positive reward based methods of training and behaviour modification.

What if I need further visits?

I provide remote back up for six weeks following the initial consultation and plan.  Further one to one sessions at your home (or an agreed location) are usually chargeable at a rate of £40 per hour. However, this is on a pro rata basis so £20 for half an hour etc.   This includes a follow up report and action plan and a further six weeks ongoing support via email, WhatsApp or Facebook messenger.

Where are you and what area do you cover?

I am based in Toddington, Bedfordshire and cover Toddington, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard and the surrounding villages.  For visits outside this area, fuel costs will be chargeable on top of the consultation fee.
Zoom consultations, where offered, can be done where ever you live.  However, I reserve the right to advise that a case is not suitable for Zoom and requires in person help.
